Key dates for the first contest

We run two contests a year, one in fall and one in spring. Dates may shift slightly if the school calendar changes, and we will post any change here first.

Timeline

  1. Now

    Registration open

    Teachers and coordinators can send in a class roster. The fee is $50 per student.

  2. Friday, November 13, 2026

    Roster deadline

    Rosters must be in so every student has a login before the window opens.

  3. Monday, November 16, 2026

    Practice sets available

    Short practice sets for each division, so students know the format before test day.

  4. Monday, November 30 to Friday, December 11, 2026

    Contest window

    After Thanksgiving and before winter break. Students take the test once, on any day in the window, and each student has the full time for their grade once they start.

  5. Mid-December 2026

    Results and awards

    Scores, percentiles and certificates are released. Exact date to be announced.

  6. March or April 2027

    Spring contest

    The second contest of the year. Exact dates will be posted here after the fall contest.
